Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse. This position involves various tasks including stocking, picking and packing, as well as shipping and receiving. A strong emphasis will be placed on safety and teamwork within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse.
  • Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining an orderly warehouse environment.
  • Perform picking and packing duties for outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in order fulfilment.
  • Participate in shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Engage in heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse space to promote a safe working environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety practices within a warehouse setting.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks undertaken.
