School Operations Manager (Maternity Cover) - Internal Only

We are seeking a School Operations Manager to join the Academic Registry team on a fixed-term contract of approximately 10–12 months to cover maternity leave. The role is available on a 0.6–0.8 FTE basis, offering flexibility for the right candidate.

About the Department

Academic Registry sits at the heart of the University's student experience, providing high-quality, student-focused administration across the full student lifecycle. Working collaboratively with academic and professional services teams, the department ensures effective delivery of key processes such as course administration, timetabling, student records, and graduation, supporting the University's academic mission and strategic priorities.

About the Role

As School Operations Manager, you will provide strategic and operational support to Heads of School and leadership teams, ensuring School plans are delivered effectively. You will lead the School Administration team, coordinating support for key activities such as student recruitment, school events and Boards of Examiners. You act as a vital link between academic and professional services. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of School operations and enhance the student experience.
