About the job

A problem isn't truly solved until it's solved for all. That's why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Lead autonomous, global compliance efforts. Assess emerging labor and employment regulations to identify, communicate, and mitigate legal and policy risks across all programs.
  • Drive compliance initiatives by partnering with Employment Legal, HR, and Ethics. Ensure all policies and practices are locally relevant, globally consistent, and fully aligned with business objectives.
  • Own the development, review, and refinement of specific policies, practices, controls, and effective processes to ensure continuous legal adherence and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Develop communication plans to effectively report program status and risks. Advise business partners on compliance policies, programs, and required training.
  • Define, track, and report on key program metrics and performance indicators. Manage project workstreams to strengthen overall compliance programs.
