I am currently working with a leading independent media agency that partners with ambitious, fast-growing challenger brands. Their clients are entrepreneurial, innovative, and disruptive within their categories-businesses that thrive on creativity and smart media thinking to drive performance and growth.

The Role

As AV Director, you'll lead a team responsible for planning and buying across all areas of AV, including linear TV, BVOD, CTV, radio, and sponsorship. You'll oversee strategic direction for key clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative campaigns that achieve measurable results.

You'll also play a key leadership role-coaching and developing your team, driving best practice, and ensuring the agency continues to deliver exceptional AV work across the board.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead AV planning and buying for multiple clients, ensuring outstanding delivery and performance.
  • Act as senior client contact, managing relationships, commercial performance, and forecasting.
  • Champion creativity and innovation within AV strategy and execution.
  • Provide leadership, training, and support to a team of AV specialists.
  • Use data and insight to optimise performance and guide future planning.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams across all media channels.
  • Support new business activity, including contributing to and presenting pitches.
What You'll Bring
  • Significant experience leading AV planning and buying across TV, BVOD, CTV, radio, and sponsorship.
  • Strong technical knowledge of AV systems (e.g., DDS, Techedge).
  • A track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • A collaborative, proactive mindset and passion for delivering high-quality work.
