Overview
We are seeking a reliable and organised Dispatch & Logistics Person to handle daily outbound and inbound operations, manage delivery drivers, possibly provide driver cover in an emergency.
Key Responsibilities
- Pack and prepare daily shipments.
- Manage daily driver routes.
- Oversee dispatch accuracy, schedules, and shipment quality.
- Raise purchase orders and book in incoming shipments.
- Handle returns and RMAs when the Procurement Manager is on holiday or unavailable.
- Provide general support across dispatch, logistics, and procurement during periods of absence or increased workload.
- Cover drivers if necessary completing deliveries and collections as required.
Requirements
- Experience in logistics, dispatch, or warehouse operations.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident computer skills, Excel and Word proficient
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Full UK driving licence (maybe required for driver cover).
