Job Title: Third in Charge
Location: Woodham House, Carlton Rd, Woking GU21 4HE
Salary: Up to £33,000 per annum
Hours: 4-day and 5-day working options
Reports to: Room Leader/Nursery Manager
What You'll Be Doing
Be All In: You bring strong commitment to leading your room with consistency and care, while also stepping up to support the wider nursery with operational and safeguarding responsibilities.
Come Together: You lead through collaboration, working closely with your team, management, and other rooms to ensure a cohesive, high-performing environment across the whole setting.
Be Yourself: You demonstrate confident self-awareness, recognising your role as both a practitioner and a leader, supporting others with empathy and modelling reflective, values-led practice.
Go Further: You show proactive ambition by taking ownership of site-wide responsibilities, contributing to strategic goals, and preparing for future leadership opportunities.

What You Bring
Passion for Early Years Education: A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to providing the best start in life.
Knowledge of EYFS: A solid understanding of child development, the Birth to 5 Matters framework, and the EYFS curriculum.
Qualified & Experienced: A Level 2/3 qualification in Childcare and a minimum grade C/4 in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
Build Strong Relationships: Form bonds with children and their families, ensuring each child feels secure and supported.
Team Player: Excellent communication skills, the ability to give and receive feedback, and a positive, proactive approach.
