Senior Visual Designer
As a Senior Visual Designer, you will play a pivotal role in defining how products look, feel, and communicate with users. You will be responsible for elevating the visual craft across our client's digital ecosystems, ensuring every interaction is not only functional and intuitive but also visually engaging and brand aligned.
This role sits at the intersection of visual design and product. You will be collaborating closely with UX designers, product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to translate ideas and insights into cohesive, high-impact visual experiences. Your work will influence everything from interface design and design systems to product branding and motion language.
We are looking for someone who can think strategically about design, someone who understands how aesthetics contribute to usability, perception, and product differentiation. You'll take ownership of complex projects from concept through execution, bringing clarity, structure, and craftsmanship to every stage of the design process.
As a senior member of our design team, you will also help shape our design culture and standards, mentoring peers, contributing to critiques, and advocating for design excellence throughout the organization. You'll have the opportunity to push creative boundaries while ensuring your designs serve business objectives and user needs in equal measure.
Responsibilities:
- Strong digital background with sharp skillset in Visual and User Interface design.
- Developing unique, feasible consumable product solutions which deliver added value to our existing customers, new customers, and end users
- Own projects from conception through to delivery ensuring consistency and quality of design output
- Lead concept design across a variety of project types spanning web, mobile & device
- Participate in and lead both team and client workshop sessions
- Gain client and stakeholder buy-in to your ideas through effective presentation and engagement
- Have the ability to clearly and consistently present the ideas, both internally and to clients
- Work with technologists to ensure effectiveness and feasibility of your designs
- Managing and mentoring the more junior members of the design team
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior design position within an agency or product business
- Excellent communication & organisation skills
- Strong conceptual and design skills
- Good understanding of design fundamentals (type, space, form)
- Industry knowledge and the ability to sell your vision to clients
- Experience designing from customer insight and iterating from data
- A passion for emerging technologies, devices, and digital products with a focus on user-centric design
- A team player that loves collaborating with clients and colleagues
- Experience using prototypes to iterate, optimise and validate your designs through user testing
