We are seeking skilled and reliable HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) and Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to join our logistics team. You'll be responsible for the safe, timely, and professional delivery of packaging products across the UK using our modern Volvo fleet — including 18-tonne and 26-tonne rigids (FE Series) and articulated FH units.

You'll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive their goods in perfect condition while maintaining our high safety and service standards.

Start times are between 4-6am.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate HGV Class 1 (articulated FH units) or Class 2 (rigid FE units) vehicles
  • Complete multi-drop deliveries and collections to distribution centres, warehouses, and customer sites
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks (pre-use and post-use inspections)
  • Secure loads safely and in accordance with regulations
  • Ensure all delivery paperwork and electronic records are completed accurately
  • Maintain compliance with EU Drivers' Hours, Tachograph, and Working Time Directive rules
  • Communicate effectively with the transport office and customers
  • Represent the company professionally on the road and at delivery points

Requirements

  • Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence
  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in HGV driving
  • Good understanding of load security, vehicle checks, and transport safety
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Physically fit and reliable with a strong work ethic
