Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to oversee daily operations in our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts, along with proven leadership skills. As a Shift Manager, you will ensure that all aspects of the kitchen and dining experience run smoothly, maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations.
  • Supervise and motivate front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
  • Ensure top-quality guest service and handle customer concerns professionally.
  • Assist with scheduling, training, and onboarding of new staff.
  • Monitor food, beverage, and labor costs to meet targets.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations.
  • Help manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships.
  • Lead by example — model teamwork, professionalism, and strong communication.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant management role (restaurant or hospitality preferred).
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Understanding of restaurant operations, POS systems, and cash handling.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
