MDT Coordinator

Arrange the weekly MDT meeting; ensure appropriate venue and equipment available. Collate, produce and disseminate the MDT list of patients for discussion in collaboration with the Clinical Team to include all appropriate new and historic cases. Ensure all information to enable a complete discussion is available reporting any discrepancies to the MDT lead. Ensure discussion is recorded and disseminated appropriately including communicating information to GPs.
In collaboration with the clinical team ensure all actions resulting from the MDT discussion are implemented. Maintain an accurate record of team attendance at MDT, producing a yearly report for the MDT lead. To be aware of availability of staff and events which may impact on the MDT meetings ( eg consultant leave, MDT meeting cancelled due to bank holidays) and liaise with the Patient Pathway Coordinator to make allowances for this in the patient pathways. Develop systems to ensure rapid and effective communication between all members of the MDT.
Collate / Input clinical data from MDT into the Somerset Cancer Registry under the direction of the MDT lead. Please refer to the Job Description for the full specification of responsibilities and requirements for this post. Please note that this advertised position, which is part of occupation code 4131 does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa (this includes if you are already in a sponsored post and looking to change employer). The Trust would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.
