Five Ashes Church of England Primary School is seeking a practitioner to work within our Early Years and KS1 team, mainly supporting a child with additional needs.  The successful applicant will also help support another member of the support staff to cover the class teacher's preparation and planning time.

Five Ashes CEP currently has 53 children on roll.  We are one of four schools within The Weald Federation, which was formed in We have a strong caring community and were graded 'Good' by OFSTED in 2025 in leadership and management, quality of education, behaviour and management and personal development.

We are looking for a practitioner who is:-

  • Experienced in working with pupils in primary education

  • Familiar with both KS1 and KS2 curriculum

The role is split as follows:

15 hours (9am - 12pm, Monday - Friday) as Teaching Assistant, paid at an annual salary of £24,796 - £25,583 pro rata
2.5 hours pm, Monday to Friday) as Midday Supervisory Assistant, paid at an annual salary of £24,413 pro rata
