Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional services. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use.
- Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is completed in compliance with regulations.
- Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the dental surgery to uphold health and safety standards.
- Manage appointment schedules, including booking, confirming, and rescheduling patient visits.
- Support the dental team with administrative tasks as required, utilising IT skills for efficient record management.
- Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues to ensure a smooth workflow within the practice.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Nurse
- Strong command of English is necessary for effective communication with patients and team members.
- Proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental practice management is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent organisational skills to maintain an orderly environment within the practice.
