Care Support Worker

Crossroads is part of the Carers Trust, who have been providing care and support to people in Sandwell and surrounding areas for over 35 years and we value these communities and their connection to us.

We currently have vacancies for a part-time Care Support Workers covering West Bromwich, Tipton and Wednesbury, to work as part of our team supporting local people in their own homes. Availability required across the following days/times:

Monday

Tuesday

Thursday

Friday

Plus

Every other weekend Saturday and Sunday (to be agreed)

We are looking for individuals who are caring, practical with supporting people with long- and short-term health conditions, enabling them to live in their own home for as long as possible.

If you have a Care Certificate or Care qualification or wishing to explore a career in care, we would love to meet with you. We are looking for people with a caring nature, who are reliable, can work a flexible working week, and get around the community easily, to provide continuity of same Care Support worker to our service users living within a local area.

Hours - Approximately 16-20 per week

Rates of pay - £12.21 to £13.75 per hour

Driving licence essential (with access to your own vehicle)

Full induction training is provided to successful applicants, including all mandatory training on commencement of employment.
