St Teresa of Calcutta Academy Trust Central Team are currently seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Health & Safety Officer to join our Central Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust at the beginning of a journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi-academy trust.
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping and maintaining a safe, compliant and supportive environment across our schools and central office.

Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, you will:
• Support the delivery of the Trust's Health & Safety strategy,
• Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments across multiple sites,
• Advise senior leaders on statutory compliance (e.g. COSHH, RIDDOR, Fire Safety),
• Lead on accident investigations and emergency planning,
• Deliver engaging health & safety training to staff,
• Liaise with external agencies and contribute to capital projects from a safety perspective.
This is a hands-on role requiring excellent communication, initiative and the ability to work independently across our Trust's schools.

We are seeking an individual who:
• Holds a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
• Has proven experience in a health and safety role, ideally within the education or public sector.
• Demonstrates strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Is confident delivering training and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• Has a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
