Join our Lancashire Skills and Employment Hub team at County Hall and play a key role in delivering the Connect to Work programme—a new initiative designed to help individuals with disabilities and others facing barriers to work gain sustainable employment.
As a Project Officer, you will:
- Provide compliance and system improvement support for the Connect to Work programme.
- Review and map processes to ensure quality and consistency of delivery.
- Work closely with the Connect to Work team and operations teams across local authorities.
- Liaise with DWP and subject matter experts to develop processes in line with programme requirements.
- Ensure alignment with CRM systems for accurate data recording and reporting.
- Develop guidance documents, desk aids, and training resources to support consistent delivery.
- Create onboarding materials and process walkthroughs for new Employment Specialists.
What we're looking for:
- Recognised Level 4 or above vocational qualification or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the employability sector supporting individuals with health conditions, disabilities, or complex barriers.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.
- Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise effectively while working independently across multiple locations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications and CRM systems.
- Ability to design and produce clear training resources and materials.
