The Job

Working Monday to Thursday 5pm till 6.45pm and Friday unconfirmed hours, on Central Park, Telford

This job (Monday to Thursday) is to cover maternity leave. If you are interested in this there will be other hours that may be added on a Friday, also cover for other holidays would be available.

Wage

£12.50 per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in offices and toilets. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties

  • Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces.
  • Ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained, including restrooms, kitchens, and office spaces.
  • Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with company policies.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
  • Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Manage cleaning supplies and equipment efficiently, ensuring they are stored correctly after use.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
  • A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas of responsibility.
