We are a Tipi wedding venue in the heart of North Yorkshire, offering couples a magical setting for their special day. With luxury on-site accommodation and a lakeside ceremony area, we pride ourselves on delivering unforgettable celebrations and exceptional service.
We're now looking for a self-employed/freelance Wedding Coordinator to join our friendly team for the 2026 wedding season. If you're organised, energetic, and thrive in a dynamic, hands-on environment, we'd love to hear from you
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct personal one-to-one venue viewings with potential couples.
- Lead wedding planning meetings (initial and final), creating detailed and accurate function sheets.
- Coordinate weddings on the day, managing timelines and ensuring everything runs smoothly from morning preparations through to the evening celebrations.
- Provide ongoing support to wedding couples, from planning through setup, the event day, and post-wedding collections.
- Maintain comprehensive and organised event files.
- Ensure venue readiness at all times, keeping all spaces clean, tidy, and beautifully presented.
- Assist with venue and accommodation setup, including tables, chairs, decorations, and styling details.
- Support with event setup, delivery, bar service, and post-event close-down.
- Meet and greet clients and suppliers on event days and during pre-event visits.
- Work collaboratively with the team, being proactive and flexible to ensure every wedding exceeds expectations.
About You:
- Experience in wedding or event coordination (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Full UK driving licence and own transport (essential due to rural location).
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confident working with people from all walks of life, calm, polite, and professional.
- Team player with a positive, hands-on attitude.
- Quick-thinking, able to stay composed under pressure.
- Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and customer-focused, always willing to go the extra mile.
Job Type: Freelance
Pay: £15.00-£25.00 per hour
