About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly driven, commercially-minded leader to join a forward-thinking agricultural business as a Regional Business Manager. In this pivotal role, you will shape the strategic and commercial performance of the West Midlands region, leading a diverse team across store operations, field sales, and technical sales. With your proven leadership experience, you will inspire and motivate teams, combining calm, confident guidance with a strong commercial focus. You will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, taking full ownership of the region's commercial and operational success driving growth, and consistently delivering results. This hybrid role is ideal for a leader with exceptional people management skills, whose passion for the sector, paired with sharp business acumen, will ensure continued success for this highly respected agricultural business.

Responsibilities:

  • To lead and deliver regional sales strategies aligned with national objectives, driving sustainable growth in revenue, margin, and customer base.
  • To oversee store operations across the designated region, ensuring efficiency, safety, profitability, and regulatory compliance.
  • To manage budgets, cost control, and full P&L accountability to achieve strong financial performance.
  • To inspire, mentor and develop a high-performing sales team while cultivating a culture of ownership, adaptability, and continuous growth.
  • To drive collaboration across sales, retail, and support functions to deliver seamless customer experiences and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a sales leadership role within agriculture or a related sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional people management skills, able to lead and motivate a diverse team to deliver successful results.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with experience managing budgets and P&L.
  • Highly organised, able to adapt quickly to the changing needs of a business.
  • A proactive problem solver with a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Customer centric, with a focus on driving positive outcomes and consistently exceptional service.
  • Comfortable traveling across the assigned region as required.
  • Proficient in IT skills and the use of CRM and sales management software.

Required Skills:
