Euro Car Parks is a market leading, renowned UK business, established over 49 years ago, with many prestigious clients and customers and is dedicated to providing a first class, outstanding service.
Ideally suited to an individual with an interest in technology and IT,with a strong background in stock management. In this role you will be a key link between Project, Purchasing, Field Management and Finance teams. You will monitor stock levels, place purchase requests to maintain minimum stock levels, receive and dispatch stock, manage field stock, configure new stock as required and coordinate repair/replacement of faulty equipment. You should be a well-organised person that is able to prioritise your workload and meet deadlines, together with a proven track record of stock management. In this role you will take an active part in the sustainment and continuous improvement of the ECP stock management process by carrying out daily physical inventory tasks, stock investigation and reporting on stock variances. We will provide in-house training enabling a full understanding of the wide range of the systems, technology and equipment in use.
Euro Car Parks is a renowned national car parking operator and one of the leading UK providers of innovative and technology-based car parking solutions. Providing specialist car parking services to a wide range of blue-chip clients throughout the UK.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
Inventory Management:
- Overseeing the management, purchase and replenishment of goods to guarantee stock levels and timely fulfilment of orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers to manage stock replenishment.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems and processes.
- Preparing and dispatching stock required for the installation and support teams ensuring correct labelling and packaging.
- Maintain a high standard of organisation in the stock location and keep tidy.
- Booking in of all deliveries, ensuring they match the purchase order and carrying out basic inspection checks.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate and analyse reports on inventory levels and stock movement.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving stock management process.
- Investigate and report on short shipments and handle daily and weekly reporting requirements.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the procurement, project management and technical support to ensure seamless operations.
- Collaborate with Management and Operational staff to ensure accuracy for incoming and outgoing loads, making adjustments as needed.
Equipment Pre-Assembly:
- Building cabinets
- Configuring cameras, tablets and routers
- Carry out minor assembly operations for works orders
Experience, skills and aptitude required:
·Proven history of stock management
·Can work under pressure, multitask, work to deadlines and have a high level of attention to detail
·Being able to work independently as well as building strong relationships with other teams
·Must be adaptable to assist in all areas with a flexible approach
·Clear communication skills
·Good level of IT literacy in Microsoft Office
·Great customer service
