Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising front-of-house staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hospitality. Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate front-of-house team members, including servers, hosts, and baristas, to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Oversee food preparation and serving processes, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
  • Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow to optimise efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all front-of-house activities
  • Assist in training new staff members in service procedures, food safety protocols, and customer engagement
  • Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally to foster positive relationships
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and service timings
  • Monitor cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times

Skills

  • Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards
  • Experience in restaurant service, including serving and hospitality roles such as hotel or barista experience
  • Leadership qualities with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen operations is advantageous
  • Organised approach to managing reservations, guest flow, and staff schedules

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
