Job Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced staff member to join our established respiratory physiology team within ABUHB. Candidates with experience in the Respiratory Outpatient setting and experience undertaking basic lung function tests are encouraged to apply.

Band 4, fixed term secondment until end of March 2026 due to - meet the needs of the service.

Main duties of the job

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL ONLY ACCEPT APPLICATIONS FROM STAFF CURRENTLY EMPLOYED BY ANEURIN BEVAN UNIVERSITY HEALTH BOARD

The Role Will Involve:

  • Undertake a range of routine Lung Function Tests independently
  • To perform Sleep Apnoea Diagnostics
  • Assist senior staff in the Sleep Apnoea Therapy Service
  • Performs calibration and quality control procedure on all laboratory equipment

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

  • ARTP Certificate in Spirometry

  • Experience of more complex respiratory investigations.
