Are you passionate about physical education and supporting young people with special educational needs to thrive?

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Teaching Assistant to join our team immediately, working with pupils aged 5–19 with a range of needs including Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), physical disabilities, and autism.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting the delivery of engaging and inclusive PE lessons across a wide range of abilities.
  • Assisting students in accessing and participating safely in physical activities.
  • Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to meet individual learning and physical needs.
  • Encouraging confidence, teamwork, and enjoyment through sport and movement.
  • Helping with equipment setup, classroom management, and personal care where required.

About You:

  • Energetic, patient, and passionate about helping young people reach their potential.
  • Must have experience working with children or young people with SEND
  • A team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • A background or strong interest in PE, sport, or coaching is highly valued.
