CSO Corporate Security's mission is to protect the Bank's people, assets, infrastructure and information. The focus of the role is the implementation and execution of the global physical security standard to ensure employee security, safety, asset protection and physical security delivery within the UKI MEAR region, in line with the vision and strategy set by the Global Head of Corporate Security.

In this role you will develop strong relationships within business, infrastructure and regional management to become the trusted advisor on physical security matters. You will directly report to the CSO Corporate Security Global Head and will be primarily required to manage and deliver operational safety and security across UKMEAR, and the travel security programme globally.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Be the trusted physical security lead for all regional, country and business management within UKI MEAR. Ensure adherence to policies and controls, in alignment with global physical security policies, as well as local regulations
  • Ensure robust delivery of operational physical security, travel security, executive protection, health and safety, physical security vendor management and incident response in the region; coordinate with physical technical security, threat intelligence and crisis management stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain close relations with law enforcement, government and peer organisations within the region
  • Be accountable for the Global Travel Security programme, ensuring staff are appropriately protected when on business travel
  • Lead other capabilities on behalf of the Global Head including, but not limited to, the location physical security survey programme

Your Skills And Experience

  • Broad Corporate Security leadership experience at a senior level in a large global organisation: MEA experience essential; travel security knowledge preferable
  • Demonstrated success in operating a measurements-based physical security delivery environment, supported by an outsourced vendor structure. Excellent presentation, communication and people skills; strong network in the physical security industry preferably in the financial sector
  • An appropriate corporate image to represent the professional reputation of CSO Corporate Security and Deutsche Bank with recognised experience in Corporate Security or a risk function
  • Experience of three lines of defence, audit, governance and controls is beneficial
  • Tertiary education in a relevant subject preferred (technology-based, security or risk management)
