Summary
We are seeking passionate After-School Assistants to join our team at Auckland College Independent School in South Liverpool. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing students' experiences, contributing to their academic success and personal development, as well as making our wrap-around service enjoyable for all.
Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one or small group instruction in homework time..
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement.
Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student development.
Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies.
Participate in school events and activities as needed.
Maintain accurate records of attendance
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred.
Proven experience, particularly with children aged 3-11 years.
Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage students effectively.
Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and students.
Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
