Receptionist / Administrator – Financial Services

The role
The role will involve undertaking a full range of reception and administrative duties, whilst ensuring the highest level of customer service. The main part of the role is concentrating on your front of house receptionist duties however you will also need to commit to being trained, over a period of time, in all aspects of our administration processes and procedures so you can support your administration colleagues as and when required.
Key Skills
Reception Experience (desirable but not essential)
Financial Services Experience (desirable but not essential).
Deal effectively with queries from clients and other parties through effective communication.
Point of contact for client servicing and new business queries; help research and resolve client queries efficiently.
Collect and collate information and data about (and from) the client.
Prepare letters for approval by the Financial Adviser in line with company processes and prepare associated accompanying documentation as required.
Prioritise workload to ensure all activities are timely, compliant and conducted in a manner that will meet the agreed performance standards and deliver outstanding service to clients.
Detail oriented and accurate.
Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Fully competent in desktop applications (proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge & Experience
Strong customer service skills both on the phone and face to face, as well as strong administration experience.
Experience of maintaining good working relationships with both clients and colleagues.
Ability to acquire, update and apply new skills and knowledge.
Personal Skills
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Possess personal qualities and skills that promote open and constructive relations with colleagues and clients.
Have flexibility for and commitment to continual service development and improvement.
Be able to work within defined business processes.
Willingness to carry out all reasonable instructions to support the business.
