We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between care settings and clients' homes. Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily personal care routines, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
  • Support the implementation of individualised care plans tailored to each client's needs
  • Monitor and record patients' conditions, reporting any concerns to senior staff promptly
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a caring environment
  • Assist with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems
  • Travel between care home facilities and clients' homes as required (driving preferred)
  • Uphold health and safety standards at all times, ensuring a clean and safe environment for clients

Qualifications

  • Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
  • Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and updating care plans
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when needed
  • Driving licence is desirable to facilitate travel between locations
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Compassionate nature with a genuine interest in supporting vulnerable individuals
