Looking to make a move into one of the fastest-growing infrastructure & energy teams in the UK?

PT Renewables is partnered with an established property and infrastructure business looking for a brand-new, experienced, Senior Planner that can deliver on nationally significant infrastructure projects.

The Role

You'll help deliver on within sectors such as rail, road, energy, and high-voltage transmission in a planning capacity.

You'll work alongside some of the UK's largest infrastructure clients and ambitious renewable energy developers, contributing directly to projects that are shaping the country's future energy and transport landscape.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing expert planning advice on major projects across the UK.
  • Preparing and submitting major planning applications, including negotiations with local authorities and statutory stakeholders.
  • Supporting the DCO lead and wider project teams on Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects.
  • Drafting written representations, supporting hearings and public inquiry appeals, and contributing to Local Plan promotions.
  • Taking ownership of project delivery, including program and budget management.

About you:

  • RTPI (or equivalent) qualified planners with experience in NSIPs or large, complex planning applications.
  • Strong consultancy or local authority experience, ideally with exposure to managing different consultants.
  • Excellent report writing, planning law knowledge, and understanding of the UK planning system.
  • Experience in rail, transport, utilities, or renewable energy is a bonus.

Package

£35,000-£40,000 DOE + £3,600 car allowance

Leeds or London - Hybrid

Pension 4% (increases to 5%)
