Job Description:

AlfaBet is looking for an additional data science star to join our team of sport modelling masters who leverage the cutting-edge advancements in Data Science technology and harness the vast and diverse range of sports events to create insightful models for sports analysis and prediction.

100% Remote Position

Key responsibilities:

-Develop statistical and machine learning prediction sports models

-Engineer and leverage years of historical sports data assets

-Implement sports models pricing engines in Python

-Test and ensure model accuracy through automatic tests

-Bring Innovations and act as source of knowledge

-Collaborate with engineering team to bring analytical prototypes to production

Qualifications:

-Masters, or Bachelors degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field - must

-At least 4 years' of experience in quantitative analytics, statistical \ data modelling

-Deep understanding of predictive modeling, machine-learning, clustering, regression and classification techniques.

-Expert in Python with a focus on performance-driven techniques and optimization.

-Understanding of Engineering principles, OOP, MLOps, Kubernetes
