Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented School Cleaners/Supervisors to join our team. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for students and staff. This position requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and the ability to work efficiently in various school settings.

Supervisors role will be a key holder position, responsible for securing the School, cleaning a section, stock ordering and overseeing a team giving feedback where needed.

A DBS is required for these roles, candidates most hold photo ID

Duties:

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
  • Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free of debris to promote a healthy learning environment.
  • Emptying bins and replacing liners
  • Replenishing supplies in Bathrooms
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.

Requirements

  • Supervisory experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and industrial cleaning techniques is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.21-£12.79 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
