Our longstanding team all enjoy offering a kind, gentle and expert service to families and individuals alike. We believe in the importance of treatment aftercare, so our team ensures timely follow up after treatment with 24/7 clinical support.

Unlike most others dentists, we offer an on-call emergency service, which connects you in your time of need directly to a dentist 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As patient convenience is at the heart of what we do, we offer regular dental appointments on evenings and weekends as well as late-night hygiene appointments every Monday & Wednesday.

Our team is growing in order to provide our patients the very best treatment and care. The Peter Brash Dental Care team currently comprises enhanced and specialist care in implant dentistry, gum disease treatment, oral surgery, general dental care, endodontics, orthodontics, dental anxiety, cosmetic dentistry, and facial aesthetics. We are also the only clinic in the country to be offering virtual reality services for smoking cessation, sugar addiction and dental phobias.

Job Summary:

At Peter Brash Dental Care, we're delighted to be expanding our close-knit team and are on the lookout for a Dental Hygienist who brings skill, warmth, and plenty of positive energy We're a fully private practice with a genuinely homely feel, and we'd love someone with at least two years' experience who enjoys building real, long-lasting relationships with patients.

Our patients have high expectations — and we love that — but what matters most is that they feel relaxed, comfortable, and leave every appointment feeling brighter and happier than when they arrived. We're recruiting for three days a week — Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and we honestly can't wait to welcome the right person into our little dental family

Duties:

• Provide thorough hygiene treatments and preventive oral health care.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, home care routines, and personalised prevention plans.
• Record and maintain accurate clinical notes, charting, and periodontal assessments in line with GDC standards.
• Work closely with our general dentists, specialists and the wider team to deliver coordinated, high-quality patient care.
• Offer air flow to suitable patients for an enhanced hygiene appointment
• Support the team's social media presence

Experience:

• MUST be a qualified dental hygienist in the UK with at least 2 years experience
• BONUS - if you know how to use Carestack dental software
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to provide exceptional patient care with empathy and compassion
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
