You will also be assisting the Theatre Manager in the continuing responsibility for the management of the Department. This includes the deployment of staff, equipment, supplies and other resources. You will have oversight of the Obstetric service delivered in theatre, assist with training and educating staff. Be the link for the department at meetings, disseminating any changes to practice or equipment.

As a Theatre team leader, you will plan and order for future lists, manage and development staff, work with members of the multi-disciplinary team to provide a timely, high standard of care to patients. You will also be assisting the Theatre Manager in the continuing responsibility for the management of the Department. This includes the deployment of staff, equipment, supplies and other resources. Carry out 24 hour responsibility for the department in the absence of the Theatre Manager. You will have oversight of the Obstetric service delivered in theatre, assist with training and educating staff. Be the link for the department at meetings, disseminating any changes to practice or equipment.
