Catering Supervisor 

Permanent

Grade B £28,598 - £33,699 pro rata for term time & part time hours.

Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review

Working 35 hours per week; Working times are Monday - Friday Approx. 7am to 2.30pm plus 6 days in the school holiday for cleaning & training.

Catering Supervisor at Holy Souls Catholic School

As a Catering Supervisor, your responsibilities will include: 


•    delivery of daily staff briefings;

•    management of all food & non-food orders via an online computer system

•    preparing, cooking & serving all meals for pupils;

•    ensuring all food and health and safety regulations are followed;

•    managing rotas and work routines for the staff;

•    weekly/monthly online payroll submissions;

•    staff training;

•    management of attendance;

•    managing employees breach of Birmingham City Council's Code of Conduct.

Essential Criteria:


•    Experience in cooking on a large scale

You will work collaboratively with school staff to ensure the first-class delivery of food in school kitchens;

•    sound knowledge of nutritional standards in school food;

•    good people skills;

•    passion about food and customer service;

•    great team player;

•    good verbal and written communication skills;

•    computer literate;

•    hold Intermediate Food Hygiene Qualification.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the immigration Act and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this
