We are seeking a reliable and professional Taxi Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Car, fuel, insurance provided. It would be preferable to already have your taxi badge.

Duties

  • Drive passengers to their desired destinations in a safe and timely manner.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle, ensuring it is always presentable for passengers.
  • Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes, fares, and local attractions.
  • Handle heavy lifting when assisting passengers with luggage or other items as needed.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
  • Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage and passenger details.
  • Perform routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Assist with deliveries when required, showcasing versatility as both a taxi driver and delivery driver.

Requirements

  • Valid driving licence with a clean driving record.
  • Experience as a van driver or in commercial driving is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers.
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally.
  • Familiarity with local roads and traffic patterns is advantageous.
  • Willingness to assist with heavy lifting when necessary.
  • A friendly and approachable demeanour that enhances customer experience.
