Position: Sample Management Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

1. Sample Management: Responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of mailing laboratory samples, from receipt to storage, and distribution. This includes maintaining a detailed inventory, ensuring correct identification, and tracking of samples.

2. Logistics Management: Handles the logistics related to sample transportation and delivery. This includes packaging samples according to regulations, scheduling pick-ups with couriers, and monitoring the progress of sample shipments to ensure timely delivery.

3. Data Management: Manages the data related to samples. This includes uploading sample information to relevant platforms, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of samples, and ensuring all necessary information is provided.

4. Quality Control: Ensures the quality and integrity of all samples. This includes implementing quality control procedures, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with laboratory standards, and adhering to laboratory safety protocols.

5. Communication and Customer Service: Serves as the point of contact for laboratory personnel, clients, and other stakeholders. This includes addressing queries, resolving issues related to sample management, and providing updates on sample status.

6. Other: Assisting with other administrative tasks as needed by the headquarters in China or various branch offices.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field;

  2. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills;

  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and multitask effectively;

  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook;

  5. Knowledge of bioinformatics and next-generation sequencing (NGS) technology is a plus.
