Job Overview

The Kitchen Designer will play a crucial part in transforming spaces through creative design solutions while maintaining organisational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget constraints
  • Present design concepts clearly and persuasively, highlighting features and benefits to encourage upselling opportunities
  • Assist clients in selecting materials, colours, appliances, and accessories that align with their vision
  • Maintain organised project files and documentation throughout the design process
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure product availability aligns with client specifications
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, offering professional advice, and ensuring a seamless experience

Essential Criteria

  • Competent using Microsoft office
  • Organised with excellent organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of merchandising principles to enhance product presentation and client engagement
  • Demonstrated ability in upselling additional products or services to maximise sales opportunities
  • Previous experience in kitchen or interior design is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate

Desirable Criteria

  • 2 years' experience within the kitchen design industry
  • Previous sales experience
  • Knowledge or experience with design systems, mainly Articad and Winner.
  • Previous experience with German kitchens

Requirements

  • The potholder may be required to drive to locations to meet customers or site management, therefore we require a valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • The candidate may be required to open and close the premises.
  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £30,000.00 per year
