We are recruiting a reliable domestic/laundry assistant to join our dedicated team at Katherine and Griffiths House care home.

Working 25 hours per week with alternate weekends as per rota. Hours to be discussed at interview

Excellent hourly rates: £12.60 or £12.65(if you have NVQ2) per hour weekday, £12.90 (NVQ2)weekend: £16.78 per hour for bank holiday.

You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the care home environment for both Katherine House or Griffiths House and provide a laundry service for our residents; using our commercial washing machines and dryers.

You will be confident in establishing a professional, friendly relationship with residents, respecting their right to make their own choices, as well as respecting their dignity, privacy and confidentiality at all times.

You will need have good communication skills that is professional, kind and compassionate with our elderly residents. The role is a physical, busy and important role.

A clear DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) result, and good references are expected.
