Overview

We are looking for an experienced and motivated vehicle technician to join our team. Whether you're coming from a main dealer or an independent garage this is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving, busy workshop

You'll be responsible for servicing, repairs & diagnostics across a wide range of makes & models to a high standard. Applicants must have a strong ability to work as a team.

Duties

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of makes and models.
  • Diagnose faults accurately using specialised tools and techniques, then perform necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts utilised.
  • Assist with installation of new equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Collaborate with other team members to optimise maintenance schedules and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe at all times.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar technical role within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components is desirable.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings effectively.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software relevant to machinery maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £38,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
