Description
We're looking for a seasoned
Director of Product Marketing (London-based)
to help define the next chapter of our growth story. Note, this is a hybrid-role which requires 2+ days per week in-office at our London-Camden location. As our product portfolio expands and innovation accelerates across multiple solution systems, we need a commercially minded leader who can bring clarity, focus, and consistency to how we position, package, and scale our products globally.
Joining an established product marketing team of five under the CMO, you'll report to the VP of Product Marketing and work closely with local Product leadership to bridge product strategy and commercial execution. You'll lead collaborative efforts to create and deliver the messaging, assets, training, and strategy that set GTM teams up for success. Focused on both new and established solutions, you'll drive GTM impact by helping teams achieve measurable gains in adoption, revenue, and retention.
Experience in market research or consumer insights technology is a strong advantage, helping you hit the ground running and quickly strengthen Zappi's position in a rapidly evolving market. If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and can translate product offering into clear, compelling, and commercially impactful messaging—we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities and ownership for this role include:
Positioning, Messaging & Go-to-Market Strategy
- Lead the evolution of product messaging and positioning—crafting clear, differentiated narratives that resonate with target audiences and reflect both current & future solutions
- Integrate brand positioning shifts seamlessly across all solution systems to maintain consistency and clarity.
- Drive alignment on messaging and positioning across cross-functional teams, ensuring every new launch and market update is supported by cohesive, up-to-date messaging across sales assets, enablement materials, and customer touchpoints.
Product Launches & Program Management
- Own relationships with UK-based PM leadership and run end-to-end product launches, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver impactful comms, launch assets, campaigns, and enablement
- Measure the success of product launches using leading and lagging indicators, tying usage, adoption, and access to revenue impact and churn reduction.
- Provide expert guidance to London-based product marketers running lower-tier releases
Content Development
- Create new and refresh outdated sales decks, customer presentations, and enablement materials to support sales and partner teams.
- Collaborate closely with content and brand teams for thought leadership content, including blogs, webinars and videos to accelerate the buyer's journey and elevate the brand.
- Work with our enablement lead to build and deliver training programs to enable internal and external teams to effectively communicate product value and differentiation.
Competitive & Market Intelligence
- Work with our VP of PMM and sales leadership to establish and maintain a true competitive intelligence program, synthesizing market trends and competitor insights into actionable recommendations for product and GTM teams.
- Equip sales and product teams with ongoing competitive insights and battle cards to support strategic decision-making and differentiation.
Facilitate Internal & External Feedback Loops
- Work with our Director of Customer Marketing on customer advocacy initiatives such as reference programs, case studies, and testimonials to amplify customer success stories.
- Act as the voice of the customer, collaborating with Product to incorporate feedback into the roadmap and improve alignment with customer needs.
- Help us create better internal feedback loops, as well, to optimize our content and collateral using in-field learnings from sales and customer teams
Customer Advocacy & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as a key partner to Product, Engineering, and GTM leaders, building strong cross-functional relationships and driving alignment on shared goals.
- Help us establish our presence within key online review sites like G2, Gartner, etc.
- Lead by example, mentoring junior team members and fostering trust across teams to ensure successful execution of initiatives.
What we're looking for:
- Industry Experience:
Previous technical role within market research, consumer insights, or adjacent technology is essential. You already understand the personas, problems to solve, and complexities of emerging markets.
- Proven Success in High-Growth Environments: Minimum of 6+ years in B2B SaaS, with experience in enterprise or mid-market environments. Familiarity with SaaS Product Management is a plus.
- Proactive & Self-Directed:
Strive to make everything better and help enhance the work of others around you. Able to execute initiatives independently, navigating dependencies - Strategic Execution & ROI Focus
: Demonstrated ability to tie marketing initiatives directly to revenue impact, feature adoption, and churn reduction, with measurable results. - Ownership of Initiatives
: Experience driving projects from ideation to completion, building scalable processes, and achieving cross-functional alignment. - Leadership & Collaboration
: A trusted leader who has successfully gained buy-in across product, engineering, and GTM teams, and who leads by example while mentoring peers and team members. - Content & Enablement Excellence
: Ability to create high-impact assets and tools that drive enablement success and ensure GTM teams are equipped to excel. Push high quality standards across all initiatives you touch. - Resilience & Adaptability
: Someone who has been through the challenges of high-growth companies, learned from successes and failures, and is motivated to rebuild and improve from the ground up.
