Head of Technical Accounting

£100-120k + bonus + package

Invenire Group is excited to be partnering a global Consumer Technology firm in their search for a Head of Technical Accounting, based in central London.

Reporting into the impressive Group Financial Controller, the Head of Technical Accounting will take ownership of the Group's technical accounting function – providing oversight and clarification of accounting standards, external reporting, audit activities and some M&A activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership for accounting standards (UK and US GAAP)
  • Prepare and review technical accounting papers with a focus on revenue recognition, equity transactions, leases and other complex accounting matters
  • Own the review and execution of new accounting standards across the Group
  • Liaise with external auditors and Audit Committee
  • Support M&A activities, carve-outs, JVs, and other financial transactions
  • Work closely with CFO, Group FC, Group FP&A Director and Head of Corporate Development to provide insightful commentary to support key business decision-making

Key Skills Required:

  • ACA qualified
  • Senior Manager / AD level within the Big 4 or significant PQE experience in a large multinational organisation
  • Deep knowledge of accounting standards including US GAAP
