About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced scientific professional to help shape the future of molecular imaging and oncology diagnostics. The Associate Director, Technology Evaluation will identify and assess novel radiopharmaceutical opportunities and emerging technologies, providing expert insight into future areas of investment. The role involves close collaboration with R&D, external partners, and academic institutions to support innovation and portfolio growth.
Main Responsibilities
- Identify and technically evaluate new product and technology opportunities, primarily in the oncology and radiopharmaceutical space.
- Conduct landscape mapping and scientific analysis to identify key trends and unmet clinical needs.
- Perform due diligence and in-depth scientific, technical, and market assessments of potential opportunities.
- Provide technology and intellectual property (IP) evaluations and prepare summary reports for senior stakeholders.
- Support internal R&D teams with insights on competitive intelligence and emerging innovations.
- Develop and manage strategic academic and research collaborations, including identifying potential grant funding opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with global R&D and innovation teams to support early-stage portfolio development.
- Communicate scientific and strategic findings clearly to diverse internal and external audiences.
- Ensure all work complies with company policies and standard operating procedures.
Main Requirements
- Degree in Life Sciences;
PhD or equivalent research experience preferred. - Minimum
5 years' experience
in academia, biotech, or pharma—ideally in early-stage drug development or oncology. - Strong understanding of
cancer biology
, diagnostics, and current therapeutic approaches. - Proven experience in
technology evaluation, due diligence
, or
scientific assessment
of new innovations. - Knowledge or experience in
radiopharmaceutical R&D
advantageous. - Ability to
interpret complex scientific data
and present it clearly in both written and verbal formats. - Experience in
managing external research collaborations
and working across multifunctional teams.
