You will be responsible for ensuring customer declarations are completed on time and in full to allow goods to move. Your role is about ensuring the team are organised and lead effectively to complete the daily tasks. To lead your team to exceed customer expectations and to closely monitor the teams overall performance. Offer feedback and coaching to the team to ensure they are high performers in every aspect. Ensure everything your team does is focused on quality. Understanding customs procedures is only part of the process, being able to manage the entire end-to-end sequencing EORI (UK) Limited will ensure that relevant training is given to enable you to carry out your duties.Responsibilities will include:Ensure all daily figures are reported correctly to the Head of Department.Review, authorise and record holidays of employees within your team.Record and manage absence and escalate any issues if necessary.Gain an in depth working knowledge of the job functions of all colleagues within your teamActively support your colleagues in peak workload timesTrain and support team colleagues as agreed.Review, record colleagues capabilities within their job roles.Positively interact with other colleagues throughout the business to ensure the customer receives the best of service.Work closely with management to deliver any changes to working processes in line with the business strategy.Ensure Group policies are adhered to and escalate to the head of department and breaches of policy by any colleagues.What do you need to be considered?The ability to communicate effectively with external customers, key stakeholders and colleagues.Ability to make decisions quickly and confidently based on company policies and practices.Strong attention to detailCustoms or logistics knowledge would be highly advantageous.Strong PC skills, including Office 365 packages.To complete a comprehensive daily shift report.Adhere to company policy and procedures and ensure compliance from your shift team.To report and contribute to continuous improvement activities.Shift rotation:06:00-14:30 / 08:30-17:00 / 12:00-20:30Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From £28,500.00 per yearBenefits:Company pensionEmployee discountHealth & wellbeing programmeOn-site parkingWork Location: WORKSOP (In person)Click here to apply >
