Preston PR AS, United Kingdom Ribble Cycles Full time £29,000 - £45,000 per year

ABOUT RIBBLE

Ribble Cycles is the UK's leading premium bike brand with a heritage of innovation, performance, and design excellence. We engineer and manufacture world-class bicycles in the UK, delivering cutting-edge technology and superior craftsmanship to passionate riders globally.

Working at Ribble means joining a team that lives and breathes bikes. We create products for real riders and how they ride, shaped by British roads, weather and grit. As the original outlier, our heritage runs deep, but our focus is always looking ahead. Joining Ribble means becoming part of a team obsessed with making meaningful work that moves the brand forward every day.

THE ROLE

This role is the engine room of Ribble's visual identity. You will create the imagery that helps to define the brand from precision product detail to dynamic lifestyle shoots to hero launch visuals that stop people in their tracks.

You will own the studio, drive visual standards, and produce high-quality content at pace. This is a hands-on, high-output creative role suited to someone who thrives on making, experimenting, refining, and obsessing over the detail.

Most of your time will be spent shooting and producing content in our dedicated studio, with additional on-location shoots capturing riders, movement, landscape, and real-world context. You will shape the look and feel of Ribble across campaigns, launches, e-commerce, and social.

This is not a coordinator role, it's for a doer. A visual storyteller who wants to elevate the brand and push what great looks like.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ownership of Studio Production

  • Take full ownership of the in-house studio, including: lighting, sets, staging, workflows, and creative direction.
  • Produce a high volume of world-class product photography that showcases engineering, precision, and design.
  • Drive a consistent visual style that scales across ecommerce, campaigns, and brand channels.
  • Create standout content that will cut through in a busy market.
  • Capture premium lifestyle, action, and hero imagery that elevates Ribble's brand presence.
  • Shoot high-impact launch visuals that define product stories and help shape campaigns.
  • Experiment with creative techniques, compositions, and lighting to push the brand forward.

Lead Shoots & Set the Standard

  • Direct smaller shoots independently, owning concept, direction, composition, and delivery.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager, Brand team, and creative agency to shape the visual approach of campaigns.
  • Bring a strong point of view, pushing creative standards and delivering imagery that feels fresh and distinctive.

High-Output Post-Production

  • Manage all editing, retouching, colour correction, and delivery with an obsession for detail and consistency.
  • Ensure every asset is polished, technically strong, and ready for use across multiple platforms.
  • Maintain a fast, efficient editing workflow to keep pace with campaign and ecommerce demand.

ABOUT YOU

  • A hands-on creator who loves making, delivering, crafting, and shooting.
  • Strong portfolio showing high-quality product and lifestyle photography (ideally premium or performance-led).
  • Comfortable running shoots end-to-end with pace, precision, and creative flair.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple shoots, edits, and deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
  • Skilled in studio lighting, composition, colour, and camera operation with an eye for premium visual craft.
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom/Photoshop) and familiar with asset management workflows.
  • Brings ideas, energy, initiative, and a drive to continually raise the bar.
