About the role:
As a procurement professional with some strategic experience, you'll be joining a dynamic and supportive team where your ideas and initiative are valued. You'll have the opportunity to build strong, collaborative relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders, helping to shape procurement excellence throughout the business.

This is a fast-paced role, which requires accuracy and working to tight deadlines. Ensuring compliance to policies and procedures will enable you to drive commercial success in your role while supporting in the delivery of the procurement strategy.

You'll support the team by –

  • Leading and delivering robust tendering, negotiation, and contract management activities, while fostering strong supplier partnerships.
  • Assess external spend with a strategic lens, balancing risk, value, and cost to support business goals.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure procure-to-pay processes and policies run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Proactively manage supplier relationships to maximise value for Drax, working in tandem with the Supplier Relationship and Performance team.
