Biggleswade, Central Bedfordshire, United Kingdom MVR - Jobs for Vet Surgeons & Vet Nurses Full time £60,000 - £70,000 per year

We are recruiting for a part time Vet Surgeon to join the team a small animal veterinary practice in the Biggleswade area of Bedfordshire.

  • fantastic part time opportunity working every Monday and a 1 in 3 weekend rota (more working days are available if required)
  • practice is established and successful with state of the art equipment; tonometry, ultrasound, k laser, digital x-rays etc.
  • varied caseload with around 50% medical and 50% surgical cases
  • Ideally you will already have experience in practice with good routine surgical and medical skills
  • confidence in working some periods of sole charge is needed at weekends
  • join a friendly, welcoming and supportive 4 Vet team including a certificate holder in ophthalmology.
  • individual interests are supported.
  • CPD allowance and funding towards certificates
  • well located in central Bedfordshire with easy access to the A1, famous university city of Cambridge is only 40 minutes away, easy access to London Luton Airport and direct train links into central London.

Person Requirements

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
  • Registered with the RCVS
  • good routine surgical and medical skills
  • some sole charge at weekends
