Live in Support Worker

Live in Care, done differently...
We work with clients to find people who will be able to relate to them, and build excellent relationships based on trust and care. Nearly all of our live-in carers drive, so there is always an opportunity for our clients to go out in the local area and enjoy the activities and services on offer. Our service recognises that companionship is one of the most fundamental stepping stones to providing excellent care at home.
When we are asked to provide live in care, we source a maximum of three staff members to provide this, and arrange a roster based on the client's needs and preferences, but also the needs of our team. This ensures that you have adequate rest periods, and time to enjoy your life, family and friends.
Week on, Week off Roster
The Live in Bank
We are searching for individuals who have excellent skills, knowledge and experience who would like to join our bank of staff and create a profile with us which we can share with prospective clients.
This is an employed role, and all required training is provided by our skilled and experienced trainer. You will need to complete a fresh DBS application if you are not on the update service, but we will also support you to register for the update service after your certificate is printed. This allows you to work more freely within the sector.
If you are selected to work with a client
We will introduce you to the client, and you can spend some time chatting and getting to know one another before committing to working together.
You will be able to discuss a working pattern which suits both you and the client, along with the other person you will be working with. Usually, we work on a week in, week out basis. This ensures that you have a good work/life balance, and can enjoy a well needed break every week.
We like our clients to have consistency, and find this works well. Its also great if you are local, and have local knowledge of the areas where our clients live as this helps with getting them out into the community.
We would love to hear from you, so please apply through indeed, and we will get in touch with you to discuss the next steps.
