What's Exciting About The Role

The Regional Payroll Manager is responsible for the payroll for all Verifone employees in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region (EMEA). This manager oversees a team of payroll analysts, who ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

We are considering applicants in London or Ashford, Kent (UK) / Bucharest (Romania) / Warsaw (Poland).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the accurate and timely payroll processing of all employees in the EMEA region.
  • Partners with our payroll vendors to ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations including withholding, reporting, and remittance.
  • Supports the payroll analyst in closing escalated inquiries by employees and managers.
  • Ensures all payroll policies are current on the Verifone One Intranet Platform.
  • Collaborate with all applicable internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to payroll.
  • Ensure accurate and regular payroll audits.
  • Recruit, train, and develop the payroll analysts.
  • Complete Path to Success performance evaluation ratings of the payroll analysts, and support them in goal setting and completion.
  • Promote a culture of empowerment, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage relationships with payroll vendors, ensuring they adhere to company SLAs.
  • Oversee regional payroll budgets and purchase order input and management in Oracle.
  • Uphold the company's code of ethics and business conduct.
  • Supports payroll analysts to ensure Service Now tickets are answered timely and accurately
Skills and Experience We Desire
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years experience in payroll and benefits with at least 3 years in a people management role.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll and the laws and regulations within the countries of the EMEA region.
  • Impeccable leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to lead and develop a team across diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
