Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to provide 1 to 1 tuition for our platform in developmennt within one of the following subjects: Maths, English, Science, History, Geography, Mordern foreign languages.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong ability to communicate complex concepts remotely. The canditate should also be educated on up to date information on how examinations operate within their subjects. The role involves working with a range of students, of differing ages and academic abillities all online - and therefore requires a computer, stable internet and a quiet workspace

Duties

  • Deliver one-on-one or tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs.
  • Develop effective lesson plans that align with the curriculum and address specific learning objectives.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and motivation.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to both students and parents.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to each student's education.
  • Utilise various teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.

Experience

  • Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly in subjects relevant to the students' needs.
  • Experience working with children, demonstrating patience and understanding in educational settings.
  • Familiarity with special education practices is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with students, parents, and educators.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed academically.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £15.00-£55.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 2 per week
