Product Manager

Note: This role is based in our Leeds office and will require you to go on-site 2-3 days a week.
Yaspa started in 2017 as 'Citizen', a company with the vision of connecting identity and payments. Over the years our product offering has evolved and sometimes pivoted a little, but that focus has remained the same. We believe there is a sweet spot in the combination of payment and identity data that will dramatically improve payment velocity, security and consumer trust.
We use open banking to power real-time payments and instant verification. For operators, that means lower costs, stronger security, and faster growth. For customers, it's a simple, seamless experience every time. June 2025 we were delighted to announce Series A led by Discerning Capital, which will ensure our growth continues not just across Europe but also entering the US market.
The role
We're looking for a Product Manager, Stablecoins to lead Yaspa's exploration and development of stablecoin based payment solutions on a global scale. Europe and the US. You'll define and deliver our product strategy for stablecoin use cases. From pay-ins and settlement to treasury and liquidity. Ensuring we stay ahead of regulatory, technical, and commercial trends.
You'll work closely with engineers, compliance and external partners to design and launch stablecoin features that are compliant, scalable and aligned with Yaspa's broader payments products.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product vision and roadmap for Yaspa's stablecoin initiatives.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis across stablecoin ecosystems (e.g., USDC, EURC, PayPal USD).
- Define and deliver proof of concept and MVP products that leverage stablecoin rails.
- Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to ensure adherence to FCA and global regulatory frameworks.
- Work with engineering to design APIs and integrations that support stablecoin functionality within Yaspa's platform.
- Evaluate and onboard potential blockchain and payments partners.
- Translate technical and regulatory constraints into clear business decisions and product requirements.
- Track key performance metrics (adoption, transaction volume, settlement time, cost reduction).
- Communicate progress and insights to internal stakeholders and leadership.
Essential Experience & Skills
- 4+ years of experience in product management, ideally in fintech, payments, or crypto infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology, stablecoins and digital assets. Both technically and commercially.
- Experience launching regulated financial products or working closely with compliance teams.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to translate complex topics into simple narratives.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
- A strategic thinker with hands-on delivery experience.
Desirable
- Domain expertise across payments, embedded finance, gaming or regulated financial services.
- Experience working in a scaling startup environment.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to engage closely with engineering teams.
- Experience with payment APIs or settlement systems.
- Knowledge of DeFi, tokenized deposits or CBDCs.
- Familiarity with the UK and EU regulatory landscape for digital assets.
Working with Yaspa
- A strong focus on culture - We're a friendly bunch who work hard and support each other; if you're excited by personal and professional growth, and being able to really make your mark, then this is the place for you
- Flexible hours and hybrid working - We are in the office 2 to 3 days a week where we collaborate and learn from each other. This is matched by the balance of WFH to allow you to manage your days autonomously.
- Top tech - you'll be given a MacBook to work from when you join
- WFH set-up allowance - Along with your new laptop, we will also provide you an allowance so you can get your perfect set up sorted.
- Quarterly socials - The Yaspa team is fun and curious, so we make sure we get together to go-kart, throw darts, play board games and generally enjoy ourselves
- Generous holiday allowance - As well as all the UK public bank holidays, you get 28 days of holiday to enjoy and take as you'd like. Emails off, sunnies on
- 3% pension contribution, which we hope to increase in 2026 as we hit various revenue milestones.
- 24/7 GP virtual GP access. Physio & Well-being support through our healthcare partner Health Hero
- A number of enhanced policies outside of the statutory requirements
Note
- We cannot offer Visa sponsorship
- We're not working with external agencies at this current time.
