About the company:

Flawless fine jewellery is a first generation family jewellers in London's Hatton Garden, one of the world's finest jewellery districts. Established in 2010 our fast growing company specialises in engagement rings and diamond jewellery, with an emphasis on bespoke rings and sustainable practices.

With the recent expansion of our in house creative department an exciting opportunity has arisen for a photographic assistant to join the team.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative and focused individual to join our in-house photography and content creation team. In this role, you will be responsible for capturing and editing beautiful images and film of our jewellery pieces, behind the scenes footage and other kinds of content relevant to the jewellery industry. You will be working alongside our small team to deliver high quality media for our e-commerce website and social media platforms.

Our team is small so you will share the responsibility for a variety of day to day photography, film, production, organisation and post production duties, being an active part of creating media for various social media platforms and the website.

Key responsibilities:

* Photography of all new Jewellery products coming through the studio.

* Use lighting to bring Jewellery products to life.

* Familiarity with social media marketing

* Familiarity with video editing, video editing apps and software.

* Post production of photography using photoshop.

* Assisting in content creation during model shoots.

* Working with our team to create new and exciting advertising images and videos for the website and other media outlets.

* Day to day upkeep of the studio.

Key requirements:

* Experience of Photography or product photography.

* Understanding of Canon cameras and EOS ecosystem.

* Good understanding of the Adobe Creative suite, with emphasis on Photoshop.

* Proficient with Mac operating systems.

* Have a passion and interest in jewellery.

* Be ambitious, focused and self-driven and can work within a team or independently.

* Be able to provide a supporting evidence of previous photography or film work.

* Work closely with the content team to brainstorm creative concepts, storytelling ideas for content creation.

* Stay updated with photo and video trends and techniques to continuously improve the quality and creativity of our brand image.

* Maintain a well-organised content library, including the archival and retrieval of content for future use.
