Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
  • Support clients in adhering to their individual care plans
  • Encourage social interaction and engagement to promote mental well-being
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
  • Assist with light domestic tasks to ensure a safe and comfortable environment
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care
  • Drive clients to appointments or outings when required, ensuring safe transportation
  • Follow health and safety guidelines diligently, including infection control measures

Skills

  • Valid driving licence and experience in driving clients safely
  • Experience working within a care home or providing home care support
  • Knowledge of developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs
  • Proficiency in English, with excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and team members
  • Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate documentation and records
